BibleTech 2010

I will be a speaker at the BibleTech 2010 conference in San Jose, CA.  It is going to be held on March 26 and 27 and should be a great conference to network and see what’s happening within the world of Bible technology.

I am going to be demonstrating a new web application I am building, Holy Lamp (I will post more about this soon.)  It is an interesting conference, and will be a new experience for me.  I have only gone to a handful of conferences anyway, and no Christian-based conferences.

The conference will be a series of sessions in two separate tracks (two presentations going on at one time.)  I am actually at 3:00pm on the last day (almost the last presentation.)  I am hoping this will not mean that attendance will be lower by then, but I am ready for anything.

The conference is sponsored by Logos Bible Software.  Logos creates a really cool software for Bible study.  I follow just about everything Logos does, but I do not actually have a copy of their software.  Weird, I know, but they have an interesting blog and Twitter feed that I like to follow.

This trip will also be my first visit to California.  I really do not know what to expect, but by the end of March I am hoping for some good weather at least.  San Jose is near Silicon Valley and some of the biggest names in technology.  I don’t think I will have a whole lot of time to sight-see, but who knows.
